Mamo Sey Awingūmū is a spiritual leader of the Indigenous peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia — a region regarded by its traditional inhabitants as the “Heart of the World.” As a Mamo, or spiritual authority, he is trained from a young age to guide his community in maintaining harmony between humanity and nature.

His teachings emphasize the sacred responsibility to protect the Earth, uphold ancestral laws, and maintain balance within the living systems that sustain life.
